Equipment From FTRI

Eligibility is open to Florida residents who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, or speech impaired. To receive specialized communication equipment, you must provide documentation confirming your eligibility.

Proof of Florida residency

To receive equipment, please bring proof that you live in Florida. Acceptable documentation includes any of the items listed below.


  • Florida Driver’s License
  • Florida Voter Registration Card
  • Florida Identification Card
  • Florida Vehicle Registration
  • Florida Medicaid Card
  • Letter from Social Security showing your name and Florida address
